Avatar 2 the awaited sequel is already in pre-production. At the same time that James Cameron's first masterpiece is still undoubtedly dominating the box office like nobody could have predicted, but that little fact has no effect at all on the production of Avatar 2. There have been confirmed rumors that most members of the technical crew and part of the cast that have been hired for the first movie and are being made to sign 3 to 5 year deals. This turn of events is no doubt very unsurprising as the revenue generated by the franchise has an unlimited potential. And if all the buzz on twitter during the holidays was anything to judge the first Avatar, everyone just fell in love with that movie. The second one if made with the same attention to detail and style should be able to surpass expectations with just a small effort given to the outdated script and ideology of the first one.
