We've been hearing about Mr. Nobody for years, ever since it premiered at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival.
A young boy stands on a station platform. The train is about to leave. Should he go with his mother or stay with his father? An infinity of possibilities rise from this decision. As long as he doesn’t choose, anything is possible. Every life deserves to be lived.
At long last, the sci-fi drama from writer/director Jaco Van Dormael arrives on demand later this month, with a theatrical release shortly thereafter.
Jared Leto stars in the film as a 118-year-old man in the year 2092, when he's the last mortal human on Earth. He recalls different versions of his life story; Sarah Polley, Diane Kruger, Rhys Ifans and Juno Temple are among the supporting cast members.
I've seen a couple versions of the trailer, but this one is my favorite so far. It does a good job explaining the plot of what appears to be quite an epic and non-linear story
