Endless Love

Universal Pictures has released a trailer for its remake of Endless Love. You might remember the 1981 original, which starred Brooke Shields in this coming-of-age star-crossed love story and introduced Tom Cruise in a small role. More likely, you remember the song by Diana Ross and Lionel Richie. Even though that song has been played at every wedding since 1981, I’m not sure it will register with the young audience this picture is aimed at. I tried this morning, but I don’t even think Miley Cyrus could get a good Twerk going on that classic syrupy anthem. The film will be released February 14.
