2015 Ford Mustang Shelby Cobra GT350

We’re not sure whether the forthcoming high-performance 2015 Ford Mustang will be called SVT, Cobra, GT500, GT350, or some other name altogether. All we know is that it’ll be fast.2015 Ford Mustang Shelby Cobra GT350 Spy Photo Side 300x199 imageSpotted for the first time around Ford’s Dearborn headquarters is a heavily camouflaged 2015 Ford Mustang, now complete with hood and fender vents, like the current Mustang GT500. This comes after the last round of spy shots in which the Mustang’s front end was embarrassingly revealed well ahead of schedule.

Another part was exposed this time around: Its steering wheel. The next high-performance Mustang will adopt a three-spoke steering wheel with what looks to be around 20 buttons on it, a quad-exhaust system, beefy tires, and ginormous brakes.
We don’t have too much on the car’s specifics under the sheetmetal yet other than the fact that we know it’ll come with an independent rear suspension. The current Ford Mustang GT500 has 662 horsepower from a supercharged 5.8-liter V-8 engine; the next car could downsize its powertrain and output on account of the fact that it will have fewer pounds to haul around and should be a better handler.
As reported by a friend of mine who recently saw a prototype of the 2015 Ford Mustang testing in Columbus, Ohio, of all places, the car looks to be significantly smaller than the current model.
